With more than 30 years of professional experience, Toby Greenberg Picture Researcher & Photo Editor is the expert who will find you the most inspiring and powerful images needed to reach your target audience.  Toby Greenberg evaluates the content and quality of all types of images, finding the most creative visual solutions for you. 



As a Visual Content Specialist, Toby works with art directors, graphic designers, authors, editors and other multimedia clients on assignments including text and trade book covers and interiors, catalogs, promotions, publicity, advertising, electronic and audio books, apps, websites and other social media platforms.



With over 30 years of experience helping clients with their picture research and photo editing needs, Toby has acquired a vast knowledge of picture collections found in museums, libraries, galleries, archives, private collections, government agencies, public domain sources, as well as independent artists and photographers around the world.



With a strong visual eye and technical knowledge of photographic reproduction, Toby guides clients through the editing process, successfully choosing images which best convey their message.



Sophisticated visual research and sourcing, along with creative editing and digital asset management, enables Toby to fulfill your visual needs while working within your budget and meeting your deadlines.  Strong organization and record keeping helps Toby to successfully track and manage your project.  In addition, Toby provides image captions and credit lines, secures permissions and copyright clearance, and handles the negotiations of image licenses.

Toby Greenberg Picture Researcher & Photo Editor is based in New York City.  Toby holds a BFA from The Tyler School of Art, Temple University and an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.  In 1991 she was honored with a Post Graduate Fellowship in The Whitney Independent Study Program, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.
